Old Mutual named Namibia’s most admired non-Namibian Insurance Brand

Old Mutual has once again earned top honours at the prestigious 15th Brand Africa 100 | Namibia’s Best Brands awards, securing the title of #1 Most Admired Non-Namibian Insurance Brand in the country. The recognition was officially announced during the awards ceremony held today at the Hilton Hotel in Windhoek.

In addition to leading the insurance category, Old Mutual was also ranked second in the category for Most Admired Brand for Society and Environmental Impact – a clear testament to the Group’s unwavering commitment to responsible business practices and meaningful societal change.

Brand Africa, together with Paragon Investment, has published Brand Africa 100 | Namibia’s Best Brands 2025 — a comprehensive ranking of the most admired brands in Namibia. Drawing from a broader pan-African survey reaching various African countries and covering over 85% of the continent’s population and economic activity, the rankings reflect consumer admiration across generations and sectors.

The annual awards are grounded in independent research and identifies the most admired brands based on both brand recall and positive perception, making this accolade particularly meaningful in reflecting public trust and relevance.
