Namibia has confirmed that a high-level delegation will participate in the 13th Annual International Southern African Railways Association (SARA) Conference and Exhibition.
The delegation includes the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Works and Transport represented by the Veikko Nekundi, TransNamib’s Board Members, TransNamib’s senior officials, and the Director of Railways Infrastructure Management from the Ministry of Works and Transport.
“Namibia is actively engaged in several regional railway projects, each at different stages of development, most notably the Trans-Kalahari Railway Project. These initiatives are complemented by recapitalising their internal railway operations, involving significant upgrades and major capital investments in new rolling stock.
“The SARA event presents a prime opportunity for participants and delegates to explore these opportunities and establish valuable business relationships,” event organisers said.
