Orion Namibia unveils new look, signals new era for pension fund growth

In a significant move that signals a dynamic new chapter, Orion Namibia Pension and Provident Funds, one of the country’s largest umbrella funds, has officially launched a refreshed brand identity. The rebranding introduces a new logo and modernised branding that embodies the fund’s core commitment to stability, growth, and inclusivity for all its members.

The updated visual identity marks a strategic evolution from its previous emblem. While the former logo featured a bold red figure symbolising strength, leadership, and guardianship, the new design builds on this powerful legacy while embracing a forward-looking vision. It incorporates sophisticated, modern typography to present a strong yet approachable identity, with geometric shapes representing diversity, inclusivity, stability, and the interconnected nature of Orion’s comprehensive product and service offerings.

Administered by Old Mutual, the Orion Namibia Pension & Provident Funds provide crucial retirement and risk benefit solutions to over 380 participating employers across the nation. This modernization of its brand aligns directly with the Funds’ strategic communication goals, reflecting its dedication to innovation and remaining relevant in a changing economic landscape.

Ramon Hansen, the Principal Officer of the Orion Namibia Pension and Provident Funds, commented on the launch, stating, “This reimagined visual identity marks an exciting new chapter in Orion’s journey, aligning with its ongoing transformation and commitment to meeting the ever-evolving needs of its members.”

The rebrand reinforces the Funds’ ongoing mission to serve its participating employers and members with the highest levels of integrity, innovation, and trust, ushering in a new era for the pension fund industry in Namibia.
