Aldoro Resources transitioning board as momentum builds at Namibia project

As momentum builds towards drilling at its flagship Kameelburg Niobium and Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in Namibia, Aldoro Resources Ltd is transitioning the composition of its board.

This sees Dr Minlu Fu and Edwin Bulseco join the Aldoro board as non-executive directors of the company effective from today, August 26.

The transition is being undertaken to strengthen Aldoro’s resource definition and drilling capabilities in addition to bolstering its offtake and commercialisation skillset in line with the company’s corporate strategy.

Increasing interest

It also comes at a time of increasing interest in the flagship Kameelburg asset with Aldoro fielding a number of unsolicited expressions of interest with respect to involvement in the project through farm-in and/or offtake arrangements.

The company has welcomed the new appointees to the board with both having extensive experience in commercialising ground floor exploration assets through to development in Africa.

About Dr Minlu Fu

Dr Fu is a highly accomplished geologist who received his PhD from La Trobe University in 1989. From 1987 to 2000, he worked for Western Mining Corporation in Australia and China as a research geologist, senior research geologist and exploration manager.

He has significant maiden exploration success which includes the West Musgrave nickel deposit (Western Australia), the Tampakan copper gold deposit (Philippines) and the Ernest Henry copper-gold deposit (Queensland) with the latter being one of Australia’s largest, long-life, low-cost copper-gold projects.

Along with Dr Fu’s technical involvement with a number of successful ASX-listed companies he has also been instrumental in the discovery of the Jinxi-Yelmand epithermal gold deposit, the Huangtupo VMS copper, zinc, gold and silver deposit, the Jinhe copper-gold deposit, the South copper-gold deposit and the Huangtan volcanogenic gold deposit, all of which are in Xinjiang, China.

About Edwin Bulseco

Bulseco is the principal and founder of a boutique corporate advisory based in Perth specialising in emerging companies across a broad range of sectors including resources, energy, technology and industrials.

His experience has been focused on key investment banking activities having completed several IPO’s, capital raisings and acquisitions. He has been involved in successfully growing a number of micro-caps into ASX 300 entities.

Prior to working in corporate advisory, Bulseco worked internationally in Africa and Asia for a global E&P company in commercial and strategy roles on multi-billion dollar energy projects.

He has has had previous director experience across a number of ASX-listed resource companies and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree graduating with Merit.

Outgoing directors

Aldoro has also extended thanks to non-executive directors Mark Mitchell and Lincoln Ho who have tendered their resignations, effective August 31, 2024.
