NTTF launches comprehensive directory for tourism and hospitality education

The Namibia Travel & Tourism Forum (NTTF) has announced the launch of “The Essential Directory of Namibia’s Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Institutions”, an inclusive directory of accredited institutions offering travel, tourism, and hospitality courses in Namibia. This comprehensive guide, to be published quarterly, aims to provide valuable and accessible information to empower the youth of Namibia to pursue further education and upskill in these vibrant sectors.

With an increasing demand for skilled professionals in the Namibian travel and tourism industry, this directory serves as a vital resource for aspiring students and professionals to explore and understand the range of educational opportunities available to them. Whether it’s a course in Hospitality Management at the International University of Management, or a vocational training programme at Zambezi Vocational Training Centre, this directory will be an essential tool for anyone seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge in the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry.

Apart from the notable institutions like the Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST) and the University of Namibia (UNAM), the directory also includes a diverse array of accredited institutions, all recognized either through the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) or the Namibia Training Authority (NTA).

“We believe that information is power, and by providing an accessible directory of the various educational avenues available in the tourism and hospitality sectors, we are enabling our youth to take control of their future,” said Nrupesh Soni, Founder of NTTF. “We are committed to the growth and development of the sector and believe that by investing in our youth, we are investing in the future of Namibia.”

The NTTF reminds readers that the information provided in the directory might not be 100% accurate and is subject to change. Institutions are encouraged to contact the NTTF at training@travel.na for any updates or changes to their information.
