Ithete to speak at Namibia International Energy Conference 2025

The Namibia International Energy Conference (NIEC) has announced the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Natangwe Ithete, at the upcoming 2025 edition of the conference. Now in its 7th edition, NIEC 2025 will be held under the theme “Leading the Way: Becoming an Energy Hub with In-Country Value,” and is scheduled to take place from 23 to 25 April 2025 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort, Windhoek, Namibia.

The Minister’s involvement underscores Namibia’s increasing role in the global energy landscape and the Government’s commitment to advancing the country’s energy sector. Since its inaugural edition in 2012, themed A Road to Discovery and Beyond, the NIEC has evolved into a leading platform for thought leadership and high-level dialogue.

It consistently attracts global energy leaders, including OPEC representatives, top executives from international oil companies, prominent service providers, investors and industry experts. The conference has also seen participation from across the African continent, having hosted numerous regional and continental government officials, including ministers of energy. The Namibian energy and business communities have also and continue to be well represented at this leading gathering of the energy sector.

NIEC 2025 will feature a diverse agenda of panels, dialogues and strategic discussions aimed at unpacking the conference theme and addressing key issues shaping the future of the energy sector. The conference is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy of the Republic of Namibia, and is curated and convened by RichAfrica Consultancy, with the support of the African Energy Chamber as strategic partner.
