Ogilvy Namibia launches Ogilvy Academy in partnership with Red & Yellow Creative School of Business

In a groundbreaking move to upskill and empower Namibia’s creative professionals, Ogilvy Namibia officially launched the Ogilvy Academy in partnership with the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business at a prestigious event held at the Multichoice Auditorium.

With over 30 years of experience in the Marketing, Advertising, and Communications (MAC) sector, Ogilvy Namibia has identified a critical gap in vocational and digital skills within the local workforce. Through this Academy, Ogilvy Namibia seeks to bridge that gap, offering accessible and affordable online courses that address the specific needs of the Namibian market.

“Namibia’s workforce is facing unprecedented challenges in adapting to the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Ogilvy Academy is our response to this. We aim to equip Namibians with the skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced, digital-first world,” said Anny Mouton, a 35-year industry veteran and founder of Ogilvy Namibia.

The Academy’s target audience includes professionals in the MAC industry and young Namibians who have completed Grade 12 but lack the financial resources to pursue further studies abroad. The online short courses offered, in partnership with Red & Yellow, range from Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Marketing Strategy to specialised industry-specific courses like Brand Management and Account Leadership.

Additionally, longer-term diploma courses in Digital Marketing and Digital Content & Copywriting are available, designed to equip Namibians with skills needed for the estimated digital jobs to be created by 2026.

As part of its long-term vision, the Ogilvy Academy expects to make a significant contribution to the creation of digital jobs in Namibia, developing future leaders, innovators, and storytellers who will shape the country’s creative economy.
