The Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF), the leading platform for young Namibians in the energy sector, has announced the launch of its Green Hydrogen Masterclass Roadshow, supported by GIZ Namibia. This initiative aims to bring valuable education and engagement on green hydrogen technology to youth across northern Namibia.
The roadshow kicked off with a successful masterclass in Tsumeb, and will continue with upcoming sessions in Ongwediva and Rundu. These masterclasses are designed to provide young Namibians with in-depth knowledge about the green hydrogen industry, showcasing its potential to transform the country’s energy landscape and offering valuable career opportunities.
Andreas Paulus, the Head of Operations at NYEF, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative: “We are incredibly grateful to GIZ Namibia for their support in making this project a reality. These masterclasses are a crucial step in educating and engaging our youth about green hydrogen. I encourage young people in Tsumeb, Ongwediva, and Rundu to attend these sessions and seize the opportunity to learn about this promising industry.
Green hydrogen holds significant potential for our country and our youth, and we can only benefit if we actively engage and educate ourselves.” The masterclasses are part of NYEF’s broader mission to educate, inspire, and create opportunities for young people in the energy sector. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and networking with industry leaders, NYEF aims to empower the next generation of energy professionals.
