Recently, Bank Windhoek’s Board officially introduced the Bank’s new Managing Director James Chapman, to the Bank of Namibia (BoN) Governor, Johannes !Gawaxab and his Executives at the BoN’s headquarters in Windhoek. During the engagement, !Gawaxab congratulated Bank Windhoek on decision-making, especially during challenging times such as fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Bank Windhoek is always there to make timely decisions for the benefit of its customers during challenging times, and that is commendable,” he said. He thanked outgoing Managing Director, Baronice Hans for steering the Bank successfully during a very challenging tenure. Chapman said he is excited for the future and will continue to nurture Bank Windhoek’s positive relationship with the Regulators.
