NAMCOR appoints Mildred Hendricks to the Board

The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) has announced the appointment of Mildred Hendricks to the NAMCOR Board of Directors.

Hendricks brings over 20 years of extensive legal experience, having served in various significant roles within state-owned enterprises and development financing institutions. Currently, she is the Legal Advisor at NamPost, where she provides comprehensive legal services, including contract drafting, legal opinions, and compliance advisory.

Throughout her career, Hendricks has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in legal risk identification, corporate governance, and compliance management. Her previous roles include serving as Manager: Legal and Compliance at NamPost, where she was instrumental in managing the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance program, and as Regional Manager at the National Housing Enterprise (NHE), overseeing strategic objectives and risk management.

Hendricks holds a B. Iuris Degree and an LL. B Degree from the University of Western Cape. She has completed numerous specialized courses in financial management, compliance, and risk management from renowned institutions such as the University of Stellenbosch Business School and the University of Johannesburg. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law in Banking from UNISA.
