BW Energy has started drilling operations on its highly-anticipated Kharas-1 appraisal well offshore Namibia.
Fresh from completing Rhino Resource’s Volans-1X exploration well, just to the south, Northern Ocean’s semi-submersible rig Deepsea Mira arrived at location two days ago, according to maritime intelligence provider VesselsValue.
The result of this well will be critical to the future development of the Oslo-listed player’s Kudu gas project.
