Bannerman Energy has unveiled a new operations team for its Etango Uranium Project in Namibia.
Jeff Pipe joins as the new Project Manager, Cindy Fraser as Project Commercial Manager & Andre Alberts continues in the team as Technical Manager.
“We are pleased to have a robust & experienced operations team as we continue to move towards development of Etango,” the company said.
Jeff Pipe joins Bannerman with 40 years of project & construction management experience in Africa. He has worked in coal, gold, platinum and diamond mining both at surface & underground. Jeff is a professional civil engineer and construction project manager. As Project Manager he will oversee the detailed design and execution preparation phase of the Etango uranium project.
Cindy Fraser has over 30 years’ experience in commercial, contract and supply chain areas of major mining projects. She brings a vast knowledge of developing and implementing project systems and procedures, along with contract management, procurement and logistics experience. Cindy has worked with CEO, Gavin Chamberlain on previous projects in Africa.
Andre Alberts has been an integral part of the Bannerman team & the Etango Project for many years. Andre is a Process Engineer with extensive experience in base metal hydrometallurgy. Having served as Etango Project Director for some years, Andre moves into the role of Technical Manager of the Etango Uranium Project going forward.
