Choppies Namibia opens Okakarara store

…now has 19 stores in Namibia

Choppies Namibia has announced the successful opening of its new store in Okakarara.

The grand opening marks a significant milestone for the company, bringing a range of firsttime offerings to the town, including a deli, bakery, and butchery. The new store is a testament to Choppies Namibia’s commitment to bringing fresh products to the community and ensuring that residents have access to a wide range of high-quality goods.

The store’s opening also marks a significant milestone for Choppies Namibia, as it brings the total number of outlets in the country to an impressive 19.

The grand opening was officiated by Her Worship the Mayor, Samuline Ngairo, and Honourable Abdal Mutjavikua, Otjizondjupa Regional Councillor. The event was attended by local dignitaries, business leaders, and members of the community. One of the key highlights of this expansion is the creation of 40 new job opportunities, a testament to Choppies Namibia’s dedication to contributing to the economic development of the country it serves.

The opening ceremony also included a special donation handover to the Okakango Chairty Group, a nonprofit organisation that assists vulnerable children, orphans, and children with disabilities and HIV. The donation will support the organisation’s efforts to provide vital services and support to these deserving individuals.

“This donation is a small token of our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Deon Bauermeister. “We believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

The new Choppies Namibia Okakarara store is now open for business and offers a wide range of products including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, and household goods.
