Kauluma appointed as CEO: Retail at FNB Broader Africa

Building on FirstRand Namibia’s legacy of exemplary leadership, which continues to set a high standard and champion values that drive transformative progress for all Namibians, Nangula Kauluma has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer: Retail FNB Broader Africa within the FirstRand Group.  This affirms the calibre of Namibian talent making a mark across the continent.

Kauluma moves into this role after a successful tenure as CEO: Retail Banking at FNB Namibia, earning recognition for her dynamic leadership, strategic foresight, and people-first approach. Her rise to a pan-African leadership position demonstrates both her achievements and FirstRand’s commitment to growing local talent and driving innovation across Africa.

In her new role, Kauluma joins FNB Broader Africa, which oversees FNB’s operations across key African markets outside of South Africa. With a strong focus on innovation, financial inclusion, and customer-centric banking, FNB Broader Africa delivers tailored financial solutions — from advanced digital platforms to community-based services — all aimed at driving sustainable economic development and empowering people and businesses across the continent.

FNB Broader Africa, headquartered in South Africa, operates in multiple countries, including Namibia, Mozambique, Eswatini, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, Nigeria and Ghana. 

Kauluma’s appointment, following a rigorous selection process, highlights the Group’s depth of leadership talent.
