ENS has added returning lawyer Twapewa Mwashindange as an executive in Namibia. The firm announced her arrival on Wednesday (9 April).
Mwashindange specialises in regulatory compliance, corporate commercial issues, and debt and equity transactions, and represents clients across the finance, government, mining, energy and insurance sectors.
She cut her teeth at ENS after joining the firm in 2015, before transferring to Latham & Watkins’ London office in 2023 for a four-month tenure. Then, in 2024, she moved to Namibia to work at Dr Weder, Kauta & Hoveka for six months before her return to ENS.
Hartmut Ruppel, executive chairperson of ENS Namibia, welcomed Mwashindange back to the firm, commenting: “[We] look forward to the contributions she will make to the firm and to our clients.”
ENS also snapped up executive Judy Kabubu for its Nairobi, Kenya office from MMAN Advocates in March, as well as forensics pro Tendai Jangara as an executive in its Johannesburg, South Africa forensics practice.
Additionally, the firm re-hired corporate lawyer Jonathon Saville and poached Wiz Inc Attorneys co-founder and intellectual property (IP) law specialist Craig Shapiro, both in its Johannesburg office in January this year, as well as banking and finance executive Deborah Carmichael in December last year.
