Sisedi Investment Group, a wholly 100% black Namibian owned asset management company, has announced the appointment of Arney Tjaronda as its new Research Analyst.
With a background in finance and investment analysis, Arney brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the team. Tjaronda’s journey in the finance sector began in 2021 while he was completing his Honours Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Banking and Finance at the University of Namibia (UNAM).
After gaining valuable insights during a lecture from a Bank of Namibia expert, he expanded his professional experience by writing opinion pieces on topics like hedge funds. His work caught the attention of the financial community, leading to an internship with High Economic Intelligence, where he advanced to a junior analyst role. One of his notable achievements was producing a valuation report for Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) when it was listed on the Namibian Stock Exchange.
With his expertise in data analysis and market research, Tjaronda will be responsible for identifying emerging investment opportunities aligned with Sisedi’s mission. “By leveraging financial modeling and sector analysis, I strive to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making and drive sustainable growth,” he says.
