The Ohlthaver & List Group (O&L) has announced the rebranding of Dimension Data Namibia to Mach 10, marking a significant milestone in the Namibian ICT landscape. The 100% acquisition of Dimension Data Namibia by O&L and the birth of Mach 10 signals not just a change in name but a bold transformation that places the company at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation in Namibia.
At an exclusive launch event held at Droombos, Windhoek, Emma Theofelus, Namibia’s Minister of Information and Communication Technology, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the pivotal role technology plays in Namibia’s economic future. “The world we live in today is defined by rapid technological change and digital transformation. Across industries, technology has become the critical backbone of modern economies, driving growth, innovation and improving livelihoods. It is no secret that information and communication technology is central to our national development agenda. The Namibian government continues to prioritise the ICT sector as a key enabler for economic growth, job creation and social development. In our quest for a more digitally inclusive society, the private sector plays a crucial role as a partner in this journey. In this context, the evolution of Mach 10 (Dimension Data Namibia) comes at a pivotal time— one that speaks to Namibia’s potential and its future as a digitally enabled nation. I wish to commend the Ohlthaver & List Group for the forward-thinking vision that has led to the full acquisition of Dimension Data Namibia and the subsequent evolution of a new brand identity – Mach 10 – that signals not just a change in name but also a bold ambition to lead with innovation, excellence and impact”, the Minister said.
