THE Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) has appointed Helena Mootseng as its acting chief executive officer (CEO) effective 8 October
The Chamber also noted that this appointment coincides with the beginning of the recruitment process for a new CEO.
Former CEO, Charity Mwiya’s five-year tenure ended on 30 September.
“Mootseng, currently seconded from her role as executive of corporate affairs at the Namibia Diamond Trading Company since 2013, brings extensive experience and expertise to this position,” says NCCI SME development officer Antonia Dumbu-Udeh.
Dumbu-Udeh says NCCI is confident Mootseng’s leadership will effectively guide the company through the transitional period while continuing to meet the needs of NCCI members and the wider business community.
