Aldoro Resources achieves 62.4% niobium recovery in Kameelburg metallurgical tests

Aldoro Resources has lauded the efforts of independent mineral processing firm Bureau Veritas Minerals after metallurgical test work on mineralisation from the Kameelburg carbonatite project in Namibia generated niobium recoveries of 62.4%.

These results are in line with recoveries achieved by developing mining explorers and producers in the global niobium space.

The company says the high recoveries achieved by Veritas in Perth offer confirmation of the project’s potential economic viability ahead of maiden drilling targeting niobium-rich dykes at Kameelburg.

Ahead of a planned drilling program at Kameelburg, Aldoro has completed track access clearance and bore drilling for groundwater sourcing.

The initial niobium diamond drilling program, which is targeted for the end of Q3, subject to regulatory approvals will focus on niobium-rich dykes along the southwest periphery of the large Kameelburg carbonatite.

Aldoro will leverage the data generated in its ongoing geological mapping and rock chip sampling to target further drill collars beyond the known dykes, with the initial program planned for the end of the third quarter of this calendar year.
