FirstRand Namibia Group, as Group entities, FNB Commercial and RMB have collaborated to sponsor the Africa Hospitality and Investment Forum (AHIF) with a N$500,000.
Connie-Marlene Theyse, Head of Enterprise Banking at FNB Namibia said, “We are proud to partner with the Namibia Investment Promotion Development Board for the Africa Hospitality and Investment Forum with a N$500,000 sponsorship on behalf of FirstRand Namibia. The work done by the NIPDB to win the bid to host the Africa Hospitality and Investment Forum Conference is commendable as it provides a platform to showcase Namibia and its uniqueness as a travel destination and provides a platform to unlock opportunities for local industry players and investors”.
Receiving the sponsorship on behalf of the NIPDB, the hosting partner for AHIF Margareth Gustavo, Executive Director of Strategy and Branding said NIPDB is working towards raising substantial funds for AHIF and it is heartening to see partners like RMB Namibia and FNB Namibia joining us on the journey. “This sponsorship is not just about financial support, but also about bringing together diverse stakeholders to develop Namibia. The Africa Hospitality Investment Forum will be held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek from 25-27 June 2024. This event promises three days of high-level networking, business meetings, and discussions on the latest trends and developments in the hospitality industry.
