Stadio gives post-graduate students shares in the business

Higher education institution, Stadio last week gave its graduating postgraduate students share certificates, giving them shares in the Stadio group and ownership in the Stadio business.

Speaking at the institution’s spring graduation last week, Brighten Simasiku, Head of Stadio Namibia highlighted that Stadio is a listed entity on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange which has presumably made Stadio the number one institution of choice.   

We at Stadio, we stand as stewards guarding our values protectively. Therefore, I hereby announce generational wealth news to all our postgraduate students graduating today. As you will receive your graduation certificates and additionally, you will receive Stadio share certificates which will give you shares in the Stadio group and ownership in the Stadio business,” he said.

Speaking to the students, Simasiku said that the class of 2023 was no exception to the global overlapping crises that have seen the world go down on its knees, but despite all these and through it all the graduates made it.

“Today we are gathered here to engrave your foot prints in our history graduation books. The race is over, what matter the most, is that you have finished. Along the way, some of you lost their close or distant loved ones, at some point some of you found it difficult to pay tuition fees, you got bruised by life circumstances, some of you even failed modules and you had to repeat modules. Through all these, what matters is that you crossed the line, and you finished the race. Welcome home and welcome to this day, the day made for you, the academic team is more than ready to confer you your rewards (graduation certificates),” he said.

He added that in line with Stadio’s vision, mission and values, in 2024, the institution wants to give more people access to higher education with access to even more opportunities.

“We want to make sure that we include fields of study to support people in their personal and professional growth. So, we have added and expanded our scope of offering by adding a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Inclusive Education to our curriculum. Postgraduate Diploma in Public Supply Chain Management,” he said.
