Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd announced it will spud its Kavango West 1X exploration well in Namibia before the end of July, targeting over 1,500 metres of Otavi carbonate reservoir in the Damara Fold Belt. The well is expected to reach a total depth of approximately 3,800 metres, or 12,500 feet.
