Arkle Resources reported interim results for the six months to 30 June 2026, highlighting a transformational shift toward uranium exploration in Namibia’s Erongo province. The company completed the acquisition of an 85% interest in Namibia Uranium, secured four Exclusive Prospecting Licences covering 540 km², and advanced Phase 1 exploration faster than planned, culminating in a maiden reverse circulation drilling campaign.
Post period, Arkle completed about 2,900 metres of drilling on EPL 8995, identifying an extensive uraniferous leucogranite-hosted uranium system analogous to major regional deposits, with assays due later in September. The group also benefited from an expanded, fully funded drilling programme at the Stonepark Zinc Project in Ireland led by partner Group Eleven Resources, while preserving capital for Namibia and progressing permitting on its Botswana lithium brine licences.
Corporate developments included the appointment of a new chief executive and non-executive director, alongside new advisory and broking relationships, supporting Arkle’s strategic refocus on energy metals. Despite recording a higher interim loss of €947,000, largely driven by non-cash share option charges, the company ended the period with over €1 million in cash and states it has sufficient funding for its current exploration programmes, positioning stakeholders for steady operational news flow in the near term.
