Tjiueza appointed interim President of NIPA

The Namibian Institute of Professional Accountants (NIPA) announced a significant change in its leadership, following the resignation of its President, Milton Eiseb.

In a statement released, the institute’s council noted the resignation was effective 22 January 2026, expressing its “respect and gratitude” for Eiseb’s service. “Eiseb has served the organisation with dedication and commitment, and we sincerely thank him for his valuable contributions during his term of office,” the statement read.

The announcement confirmed that further details regarding the transition process and interim operational arrangements would be communicated at a later stage.

Simultaneously, NIPA has moved swiftly to ensure continuity, announcing the appointment of Munee Tjiueza as the Interim President. The institute extended its proud congratulations to Tjiueza, who will lead the organisation until the next Annual General Meeting, where a permanent appointment is expected to be made.

The statement did not disclose the reasons for Eiseb’s departure. NIPA, a key institution in national capacity building and public service training, is now tasked with ensuring a smooth transition under its new interim leadership. Stakeholders will be watching closely as Tjiueza takes the helm during this period of change.
