MTC branding and marketing indaba announces 18 excellence award categories

MTC Branding and Marketing Indaba has announced 18 excellence award categories that will recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation across the areas of Branding, Marketing, Communications and Advertising.

The award ceremony will take place during the MTC Branding & Marketing Indaba Gala Dinner scheduled for 10th April 2026 at Movenpick Hotel.

MTC’s Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability Officer, Tim Ekandjo, said “The award ceremony will honour outstanding individuals and corporates that have demonstrated par excellence and exceptional achievements and have made vital contributions and impact to the industry.”

In terms of determining categories winners, Ekandjo explained that for credibility and fairness, an independent panel of judges made up of industry experts is put in place to adjudicate.

“All categories are open for entry except the Peoples Brand of the Year category, which will be decided by a public vote. All other categories will be adjudicated by an experienced independent panel of judges who will use their knowledge based on the entries and evidence provided by the submissions. We will announce the names of the judges very soon.”

When submitting entries, participating professionals and corporates must take note of the following:

  • Clearly indicate which category you are entering.
  • Submit a recommendation to motivate your entry.
  • Submit as much evidence on which the panel of Judges can rely on.
  • Submit your entry on (https://indaba.mtc.com.na/awards/award_application).
